• I'm going to watch the second Hobbit movie.

ROARRRR!!!!!!

Hey, guys, you must be wondering why the title is ROARRRR!!!!!! That is because I'm going to talk about Dino Day(yaayyy).

We made a film/documentary called 'FLYING WITH PTERODACTYLS) and it was really random. I was the camera-man and the main script writer, Ben was the narrator, James was the Dino Man and Daniel G was the control man.

It was a bit of a rush, getting a film/documentary on one day but we managed(kind of)

Book Week & Book Character Day

Hey, Peeps, sorry for being late. Anyway, I brought a wand which resembles Harry Potter.

For Book Character Day, I dressed up as Percy Jackson from the book series called Percy Jackson.

Guy Fawkes Day or Christmas???

Do you think there should be fireworks on Guy Fawkes Day because I don't. I think Christmas is waaaayyyyy better then having fireworks on Guy Fawkes Day(GFD). Here are my main points.....

1. Buying fireworks on Christmas is way cheaper than buying fireworks on GFD. The reason for this is because shops will expect alot of people buying fireworks so they will increase the price unlike Christmas.

2. GFD is not a really important celebration, I mean, who will want to celebrate a day of an assassin, trying to plot against our 'Beehive'. Christmas, on the other hand, is a happy day for us because it's the day when we get presents and also, Jesus is born and that is very important to us Christians.

Hiya, guys, did you hear about the St. Ben's school fair. My favorite stall was the book stall and I enjoyed doing the Zumba. I also went around the school with my friend, Savio.

Hey, peeps, guess what happened to me in India..... I went to the loo in Lulu mall(lol)!!!!!! Lulu mall is a hypermarket. There was a 5d cinema which was really awesome. There was a roller-coaster too. We went one round around Lulu and it took 5 hrs. That is how huge Lulu is.

Cherub: (WARNING: This book contains violence & coarse language),          (Another WARNING: Spoilers here) Cherub is about a boy named James Adam. His mother dies and he goes to an orphanage. He soon gets accepted by a secret organization called.......CHERUB.

I love this book because the plot fits altogether like a jigsaw puzzle.

Praises for Cherub(by me):
"Robert Muchamore is a genius, This book is a mixture of James Bond & The Enemy."

The Mentalist: The Mentalist is about a man named Patrick Jane(Simon Baker) trying to catch the killer(Red John(Unknown)) who killed his family. Meanwhile, he solves different cases with the CBI, some of them involved with Red John, some of them not involved with Red John.

I think this is awesome because it involves violence & it is a thriller(my type). Also, keeping us in suspense who Red John is.

MINECRAFT MEDIEVAL TIMES!!!!!! :)

Hey, peeps, I'm.......(drumroll please)...BACK!!! We are now going talk about..............                     MINECRAFT/MEDIEVAL TIMES. This picture is a picture of a stable I built in Minecraft Edu. It took me quite a long time to build this stable. Joaquin the Pig Rider(it's a long story) helped me. We spawned some animals there and made an underground cave(for the stable masters to put......poo in the underground cave). I also added an emergency exit. When a war begins, the stable master would take them out the emergency exit.

What do you think I should add in this Minecraft stable.

MEDIVAL TIMES 2013

Hi ya, guys, I'm back(yay). Guess what......we will now talk about MEDIEVAL TIMES. In this topic, I learnt about the lifestyle, the serfs, etc.

I learnt the stuff by building and the role-play in Minecraft and the Powerpoints.

My Electives in St Benedict's School 2013

Hey, guys, long time no see, anyway, we are now going to talk about.................................(Hint: It is about the title)......You got that right(I hope)because if you are thinking about my electives in Term 2 & Term 3 then you are a genius.

Term 2
For electives in Term 2, we did..(drum roll please)..... MASTERCHEF!!!!! We made food from different countries/culture, e.g. the risotto with bacon and mushrooms(YUM) is mainly from Europe and the Green Thai curry is from Thailand. I pretty much had fun with my group(Thomas, Aiden, Daniel and ME!!!). 
Our teacher for this is.......MISS R BOLGER.

Term 3 (FYI, It's Term 3 now)
For electives, we are doing.........Creative Computers!!!! I am in a group with Havesha, Daniel, James and ME!!!! Our teacher is....... MISS F BOLGER(Miss R Bolger & Miss F Bolger are sisters :O). We have two main projects. One is to build some kind of mini-challenge in our world. The other one is to make a movie.

Basically, there are five activities(Cooking,Electronics,Movie Making(I'm in it)Sewing and Woodworks). We go to Mount Cook school for Tech. I just finished cooking and now I am moving on to Movie Making.

MEDIVAL TIMES

'Sup, guys, we are now going to talk about(drumroll, please).................MEDIVAL TIMES!!!!!(yay)

What I learnt about MEDIVAL TIMES!!!!!(yay) was the ranks(eg. Kings, Barons etc) and we made castles(FYI,we did it with paper). It was a pretty fun topic to learn about.:)

I would like to learn more about the punishments when someone did a crime or when you are a witch.

Book Groups

Hey,guys,I'm back. I'm back because......well, we are going to talk about BOOK GROUPS!!!!!!!!!(well,my book group). We are doing this in Term 2 & 3!!! Book groups is a is a group that has to talk about a book(OBVIOUSLY)and our book we have to read is (music please) "AMONG THE HIDDEN," written by Magaratt Haddix. A few things that went well in my book group was that everyone contributed and and we all stayed on topic but some people interrupted(why are you looking at me like that?)when someone was talking. On the other hand, it went pretty good. we unlocked crackers(not actual crackers) which means we can bring JUNK FOOD. Chips, crackers,popcorn, anything you imagine, it will ALL BE THERE(metaphorically speaking)!!!!! What I would do differently next time/term would be not to hog all the snacks. What I learned from the experiance was that they explained to me in a polite way when I say that I don't understand someting in the book. Now, I finished the book(YEAH).

What's been happening in school lately

Hello, guys, so we have a Disco at the 28th of June and I don't mean to brag but I am a good dancer myself. Dancing is actually one of my talents/passion.I am going well on my tasks. Oh, I forgot to tell you about tasks, you see, Miss Bolger will give us tasks to do own our own time. There is also a reward for finishing your tasks at the end of the week.......DOGDEBALL(one of the best game in the world) BUT if you don't finish your tasks, you have to finish that task while the others play DOGDEBALL(the best game......you get the idea). To you, Dodgeball might seem as a stupid reward but to us, it is like all the money in the world because DOGDEBALL is the best game..........again, you get the idea. Once you play DOGDEBALL with us, you will love this game. Anyway, so school is going pretty well.

PROGRESS IN PAINTING

Sup,guys, we are going to talk about a famous painting(it is not the Mona Lisa), it is 'This is not a pipe.' 'This is not a pipe' is a painting painted by Rene Magritte. The reason I am talking about this is that I am going to talk about my painting that I did copying this painting. Not really all the details,actually,just what I like or don't like about the painting I created. What I didn't like about the painting was the blending but what I did like was the writing, the shape and the style.

BASIC FACTS???????

Sup, guys, I'm back, I am going to talk about how to improve my basic facts. We usually have a basic facts test on a Friday and I really need to improve on my 7's and 8's time table. What I'm doing to improve my basic facts is to write it down every week. Pretty impressive, huh. :)

St. BRIGIDS PART 2

Welcome back, guys, hope you had a good break..... The Part one was just the previews so in Part 2, this is the real story........ "Dude, chopsticks?", I was talking to Bernard(my friend/partner) in the train. Oh, I guess I should explain; we were going to St.Brigid's for Catholic School Day(CSD). CSD is a day where we celebrate catholic schools and we gather together to celebrate. Anyway,I asked Bernard to play Chopstick because it was one of our favourite game. I'll explain at another story (sorry). When I won(I am the master), we reached our destination (Johnsonville). Anthony, Ben and me lead the group(Year 7 & Year 8). We went to the church for a liturgy. we went to the school and had a free sausage sizzle (it was morning tea). Next we split into groups: St.Brigit's, St.Benedict's, St Peter & St.Paul. Our group did a banner saying"Catholic School Day is about treasure in our hearts."  We decorated it and don't mean to brad but it looked pretty awesome. Then we all gathered together in Rm11 and squeezed in there. We sang a song, Love is easy. it was pretty good song. After that we went back to the train and came back to school just in time for lunch. That was a pretty cool day for me and the group.

ASB Finacial Literacy

Yesterday, an ASB get wise person came to my class(Room 12) and talked to us about how to spend money wisely and to save money, oh, and guess what.....AN EFTOPS CARD ISN'T A MAGIC CARD!!!!! The ASB guy's name is Vaney. He is a visitor from the ASB getwise programme( as you already know) and this guy was hilarious(Lol).


We actually learnt some stuff as this guy explained stuff(on the first paragraph) and it actually made me realize that don't spend on stuff that you want(even though, if it was really tempting) but don't need, then think twice. I also realized a good thing, that you get extra money when you save money and give it to the bank, now that is cool stuff.


After that, we learnt what CAR stands for(not the real car, in banking terms) it is Clear, Achievable, Realistic. Next, he asked us about our passion so we could turn into a job. Mine was Hip Hop dancing. 

Finally, he finished and left then we played CAPTURE THE FLAG!!!!!

That was a pretty entertaining show/day. :)

THE HOLIDAYS

"Damn," that word just kept on echoing in my mind, "We're late!" I guess I have to explain what I was doing, well it's obvious. I was getting ready to go to Savio (my friends)'s house......and I was late.

When we finally got to his house, we first played Foosball, yeah you heard me, HE HAS A FOOSBALL TABLE!!!!!! Then we played Wii (Fifa 6). Next we played on the PSP and the game is called Fifa 12.
When we finished, we started to play cricket. I won 2 games(obviously) but he won 1(boo). Fine, I'll admit it, I cheated, I'm really sorry. Anyway, let's not jump to conclusions so after that we watched the Avengers. Dude, five stars. It was the best movie ever(except for Iron Man, Harry Poter etc). Best graphics and violence EVER!!!!! I, Joseph Mathew K, recommed you to watch THE AVENGERS!!!


Then when the day was over, I went back to my house. as usaul, I would say ' THAT WAS THE BEST DAY EVER!!!!!:)' but not today so instead IT WAS A NORMAL DAY LIKE ANY OTHER DAY(except for Avengers)!
